Layla Rani Gautam - Month 4

LU - happy 4 months! Where has the time gone boo boo. I joke that I count the time by how many weeks I have been sleep deprived, but in all honesty you are the only person in the world I would sleep this little for. You have done so much in your short time here. This past month you rolled belly to back for the first time and you have discovered your hands and are in the process of discovering your feet! You took your first flight to Ohio and met all of your cousins and in a few days you will take another flight to Houston to visit Dada’s home. Your coos and smiles really melt our hearts and everyone is in admiration of how big you have grown. Just this past week you showed signs of getting ready to crawl - your grandparents think you are going to do everything early. Your Thatha says it’s because you came into this world early. 

You love playing on your mat and observing the world around you. You have so much fomo when there are a lot of people around - you try so hard to keep your eyes open so you can be part of the action. But like your mama you value your sleep and once we get you to finally nap you are a marathon napper! Your dad has the magic touch and can get you to sleep and drink your milk when you are being a little grumpy pants. You have the most hands on dad in the world baba and we are so very lucky to have him. We hope you know how much you we love you. We just want what is best for you and can’t wait to see all the things you will accomplish in these next few weeks.
