Layla Rani Gautam - Month 6

Happy 6 Month Birthday Scooby Looby Doo! We love youuu. Dada and I cannot comprehend how fast 6 months flew by with you.  You are our whole world baby girl and we can't wait to see how much more you grow and learn in the next 6 and beyond. This past month we were mostly at home in Brooklyn and spent a lot of time exploring the neighborhood and snuggling with you. You are a BEAST at tummy time and getting stronger every day. Over the past two weeks you have started to sit up on your own too! People keep asking us what your favorite toys are and Dada and I joke that your favorite toys are us. You LOVE to be around the action, and have the biggest fomo just like your Dada. You started sleeping in your crib like a big girl and we were sad to lose our littlest roomie. Before you would only really sleep if you were between Mama and Dada. You also have started to give us big belly laughs and are super interactive and playful. You reach for all of your toys and love putting things in to your mouth, even your feet! We went on a lot of family walks and you even had your first friend come to visit and stay with us, Miss Ayla D. You are getting to be more and more curious every day and it has been our biggest pleasure watching you grow. There is a saying that the days are long and the years are short and we did not know how true those words were until your 6 month birthday approached. We celebrated it in true style with sugary treats that unfortunately you are not yet allowed to eat :) You already have such a big personality - keep smiling and being happy my baby.
