Layla Rani Gautam - Month 10

 Hi Bubby!!!

10 months!!! You're such a big girl now!! You did SOOO much this last month. You GREW so much! You took your SECOND international trip to Belize to celebrate Anand mama's 40th birthday (although he really turned 42, we'll tell you all about COVID when you grow up). In Belize, you had your first experience in sand (you hated it), your first experience in the pool (you LOVED it), and you celebrated your very first Thanksgiving! 

Here are some things about you from Month 10:

• You started sleeping through the night (now Mama and Dada can watch their TV shows)
• YOU STARTED CRAWLING!!! This was soooo exciting! Me and Mama both teared up when you first started crawling. 
• You have also started standing on your own if you are holding on to something or somebody, so let's see when you start walking.
• Because you're so active now, you got your first booboo on your head and we have some funny (but sad) pictures of it. You're such a strong girl.
• You somehow keep getting upgraded to Business class or First class on every single flight. Must be nice!!!
• You love dal and you love all kinds of fruits. You're starting to love eating real food!!
• Bua and Mama held a Sorting Ceremony for you and you selected Gryffindor (I'm not actually sure what this means, but Mama will explain it to you)
• You helped us set up your very first Christmas tree!!
• You love music! You dance and sing along when we play music. 

You have started to show so much personality and we love it. You have started making so many noises and started copying us when we make noises. When me and Mama laugh together, you also start laughing. You love being part of the action and that's so cute. Your favorite time of the day is when Mama brings you in the early morning to our bed and all three of us cuddle with you. 

We love you boo. 2022 is coming to a close and it has been the most special year ever for me and your Mama. We're so lucky to have such a sweet boo in our lives and we are so excited for all of our adventures in 2023 and beyond!
